Kim was born and raised in Gilmer County and a Graduate of Gilmer High School. She is also a graduate of North Georgia College & State University. Kim has 7 years of banking experience, all of it in Gilmer County. She has 2 children, Austin (17) and Summer (12). In her spare time, Kim enjoys spending time with her kids, watching her son play football, and traveling. When asked why she wanted to join the CBOPC team she stated, “I was looking for an opportunity to get back into banking with a true community bank.”

Virginia CochranJohn Trammell, President/CEO of Community Bank of Pickens County is proud to welcome new staff member Virginia Cochran. Mr. Trammell stated, “We are pleased to have Virginia join our team. Her experience and banking knowledge will be a great asset to our bank. Virginia was born and raised in Gilmer County and a Graduate of Gilmer High School. She went on to the University of Georgia Banking School. Virginia has 31 years of banking experience, all of it in Gilmer County. She has been married to Dale Cochran for 41 years and they have 2 sons, Chris & Darren. They also have a grandson named Owen. Virginia’s favorite things to do are travel and read a good book. When asked why she wanted to join the CBOPC team she stated, “I was ready to be back in a true “community bank” and be able to give customers the type of service they deserve.”

CBOPC Staff Donates to Pickens Family PartnersThe staff of Community Bank of Pickens County, in an effort to show Hometown Commitment, have the option of wearing blue jeans on Fridays and when they do they donate an amount each time into a collected pool of donations that are then disbursed to local charities in need of support. The staff voted on which charities they would like the donations given to and for June 2013 donations were collected to support Pickens Family Partners. The staff voted on which charities they would like the donations given to and for May 2013 donations were collected to support the local chapter of FERST Foundation Reading Program. Tracey Chastain John Trammell, President/CEO of Community Bank of Pickens County is proud to welcome new staff member Tracey Chastain. Mr. Trammell stated, “We are excited about having Tracey join our banking team. She has strong roots in Pickens County and brings many years of experience with her. With Tracey joining our team, we have continued to enhance our commitment to local community banking.” Tracey Chastain joins the CBOPC team as a Consumer Lender.

Tracey is a graduate of Reinhardt College and has been in banking for over 29 years in Pickens County. When asked why she wanted to be at CBOPC she stated, “I chose Community Bank because I wanted to be in a community bank atmosphere that focusses on the customer and provides their customers with great service.”

Tracey is the wife of the late Lou Chastain. She enjoys spending time with her daughter Mallory and son-in-law Patton Childers. Her favorite hobby is reading a good book.
